Katha to chant when wearing amulets

Before using Katha Chern Phra Kreung Suam Khor below, you should first be able to memorize and recite Katha Wai Kru. You should offer flowers, 3 sticks of incense, 1 pair of candles before the Buddha. Bring to mind the virtues of the Buddha, Dhamma and the Sangha, as well as Luang Phor Guay. Then recite the katha below.

Katha Wai Kru (Meaning to pay respect to the Teacher)

Namo Tassa pakawato Arahato Sammasamputtasa – Recite 3x
Ta mung thung
Pa ga sen to
Sut tha a ha
Ei ma a vi
Ta u a mi
Ma sa na mo

This katha means to give respect to the teachers from the lineage of Luang Phor Guay, Phra Phrom, and all the teachers in charge of wicha, requesting them to arrive and assist one to have the mental powers to remember, read and understand the katha, as well as use the katha effectively.

After reciting the katha, bow 3 times, with head touching the floor.

Users are reminded to remember the Katha Wai Kru first, until you can recall the katha to mind effortlessly, before proceeding to use other katha presented in the Tamra (textbook). Users are also advised to attend the Wai Kru ceremony of Luang Phor Guay in Thailand.

Before wearing

Put thang a ra tha na nang
Tham mang a ra tha na nang
Sang khang a ra tha na nang
Then wear your amulets.

After wearing, chant the katha below

Put thang pra sit
Tham mang pra sit
Sang khang pra sit
