A ceremony used to cleanse evil and bad luck, often conducted for people who are down on their luck. The ritual differs from temple to temple. Some temples will cover the person in white cloth, chanting as the cloth is slowly removed. Some perform a ritual where the person sleeps in a coffin during the ceremony. Some temples will connect holy thread to the heads of everyone in attendance, and connect the thread to the Buddhist statues.
