Red wood from the Phyllocarpus Septentrionalis, or Monkey Flower Tree. If you plant the Monkey Flower Tree on the western side of the house, you will have gain love and admiration from elders and superiors. The occupants in the house will appear majestic in the eyes of others and maintain effortless harmony with each other. To achieve this, however, it must be planted on a Sunday, by an elder in the family who has wisdom and virtue.

It was often the wood of choice for shipbuilding in the past, as it was prized for its harmony-bringing properties, enabling everyone to live together peacefully.
