Bucha
This has 2 meanings:
- To worship/ respect/ venerate. This can be done by making offerings (such as food, flowers, water) or through the recitation of Buddhist holy verses. Bucha can be carried out on honor of living monks, as well as statues and other representations of the Buddha, Arahants and Deities.
- A term referring to the statue of Deities, Monks, Arahants or the Buddha, that devotees worship at home.
