A Thai astrological belief that the influence of Jupiter and the Sun will cause people to face challenges during the course of their life, sometimes resulting in sickness, injury, or death. YomPhaBan (the King of Hell) assesses the deeds (or misdeeds) of each person and passes judgment about whether they live or die.

This occurs at age 13, 25, 37, and every after 12 years thereafter.
