Asu Pa Gammatan
It is named Asubha Bhavana in Pali. In the Theravada Buddhist tradition, it is the practice of using mindfulness to contemplate on the impurity and foulness of the body in order to destroy deep-rooted feelings of desire and lust. This can be done by contemplating on human corpses. When this method of meditation is done frequently, it can destroy the false view of the ego, leading to the disintegration of feelings such as jealousy, anger, revenge or lust.
